The Minister for foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation Dr. Stergomena Lawrence Tax meets the newly appointed Arusha International Conference Centre AICC Managing Director Mr. Ephraim Balozi Mafuru during the just ended high level retreat for Ministers, deputy ministers, Permanent Secretaries and deputy permanent secretaries held at AICC HQ in Arusha. During the brief encounter the Minister congratulated Mr.Mafuru for his appointment and pledged to offer him the necessary support in undertaking his new task at the the Centre. his part Mr.Mafuru briefed Dr. Tax of the strategies aimed at improving the Centre and restore its former glory as the leading destination for conference diplomacy in Africa.
