The Managing Director of the Arusha International Conference Centre ( AICC),  Mr. Ephraim Mafuru this morning( June 5, 2023) had a rare treat to meet and interact with the  Executive Secretaries and Record Management Officers who attended  the  TRAMPA and  TAPSEA Annual professional Conferences in Zanzibar last week.

The week-long meetings namely, Tanzania Personal Secretaries association(TAPSEA) and Tanzania Records and Archives Management Professionals Association(TRAMPA) were held in Zanzibar last week.

In their meeting, the team thanked the MD  for facilitating their participation, adding that  that they were impressed by the management’s decision to send such big number of  11 officers, including five secretaries and six record Officers to attend the respective meetings.

“ I was employed by AICC  38 years a go and I am scheduled to commence my retirement leave today, the Zanzibar trip will leave a permanent mark of your leadership in my heart,” said Prisca Albinus, one of the participants.

The MD was also appraised that the training they received has enliven their skills and experience for better performance to the organization.

On his part, the AICC Managing Director thanked the team for their grateful gesture that included a Zanzibar door souvenir  , saying he made a decisions  to send such a large team because he greatly valued their roles in the organization, adding that  it was a duty of the management to facilitate skills and knowledge transfer to its staff especially in this digital era.
