Arusha International Conference Center has the tendency of giving back what we earn to the surrounding society and even beyond this. This February our staff visited children center known as Tumaini Positive.

The Arusha International Conference Centre’s Hospital has received a
donation of a brand new Incubator from the Rotary Club International
This very significant and life saving equipment was handed over on 7th of
August 2009. it is an open case incubator of Jeerack model which has a
capacity to accommodate one to two premature infants of under 1kg of weight,
should circumstances emerge.
Rotary International has indeed lent a helping hand to AICC Hospital because
through such humane donations many lives can now be saved and more families
will be happy and be grateful for the gift of life.
Previously, all premature births were referred to The Mt. Meru Regional
Hospital. The 7th of August marked the beginning of a new era for Midwifery at
AICC Hospital offering Midwives the opportunity to save more lives by the use
of this equipment as well as encourage more people to get acquainted to such
skills that will facilitate development in general.
The ceremony was held at AICC hospital in the presence of Rotary
International’s own Mr.Tadesse Alemu who is the District Governor 2009-2010
from Ethiopia, Prof. Ole Nguyainei, AICC Director of Hospital Services, some
members of the AICC management, Hospital staff and patients who were at the
scene during this commendable event.
AICC extends its sincere gratitude to Rotary International and SeeWay
Tanzania (SWTz) wishing them the best in their deeds.
